The doll was individually hand sculpted by artist Joyce Mathews and cast in high-quality resin. With fourteen points of articulation, she possesses both graceful poseability and the refined presence expected of a collectible artist doll.
 
Her expression has been developed entirely by hand. Joyce Mathews individually painted her eyes, lips, eyelashes, eyebrows, cheeks, facial contouring, body contouring, body blushing, and nails, creating the subtle tonal variations and delicate detailing that give the doll her distinctive character.
 
The artist's signature appears on the back of the head, permanently identifying the work with its sculptor and adding an important element of provenance for the collector.

Her soft blush-pink dress was handmade by Maritza Moran and features layers of delicate tulle sprinkled with tiny silver stars and crescent moons. Ruffled shoulder straps, a wide satin waistband, and a beautifully tied bow at the waist add just the right amount of storybook charm, while the generously gathered ruffled hem gives the skirt a wonderfully full silhouette.

A large pink satin hair bow can be nestled among her curls for a classic little-girl look, while her white hand-crocheted bonnet-style hat, finished with a wide satin ribbon and bow, creates an entirely different vintage-inspired presentation.
Her soft, tousled blonde curls come from a beautiful handmade mohair wig created by Olga Kuznetsova. The natural texture of the mohair gives her hair an airy, wispy quality with curls that frame her face beautifully.
